How It Works

Three steps to open water.

No fuel stops. No engine to service. No season spent learning how to use it.

1
Standard Outlet

Charge it at home.

It plugs into the same socket as everything else you own. Leave it overnight and it's ready before you are — no fuel run, no oil, nothing to drain at the end of the season.

2
Ready In Seconds

Launch from the shoreline.

Sit low, sit stable. There's no rigging, no crew and no setup ritual standing between you and the water — you step in, you power on, you're moving.

3
Up To 50 KM/H

Steer it like a go-kart.

A wheel and a throttle pedal, with electric torque that answers the instant you ask. It makes sense in the first minute and still thrills in the hundredth hour.

In Motion

Real water. No renders.

Unedited footage of the Current doing exactly what it was built to do.

Built To Perform

Every part earns its place.

Nothing here is decorative. Three systems do the work, and each one is specified rather than described.

Powertrain

Torque the moment you ask for it.

Electric motors don't build power, they deliver it. There's no rev range to find and no throttle lag to ride around — press the pedal and the hull moves, from a standing start or mid-turn.

Hull & Control

Sits low. Turns like it's on rails.

The seated position keeps your weight below the waterline, which is why the Current holds a line through a turn instead of fighting it. Steering is a wheel and a pedal — the same instincts you already have from a car.

Construction

Built for a decade of summers.

The shell is moulded ASA — the material used for exterior automotive trim because it holds its colour and its shape under UV and salt. It's the difference between a craft that still looks new in year five and one that doesn't.

Avendorra Current certification and compliance documentation

Certified before it ever touched water.

Electrical systems on a watercraft are not a place to take a manufacturer's word for it. The Current is built and tested against international safety and electromagnetic standards, with a sealed battery enclosure rated for full submersion conditions.

The Real Comparison

What you're actually choosing between.

Almost nobody shopping the Current is comparing it to another electric kart. They're weighing it against a petrol machine. Here is the honest difference in living with one.

Avendorra Current
Petrol Jet Kart
Refuelling
Any wall socket, overnight at home
Trips to the fuel dock or jerry cans in the car
Engine servicing
None — no oil, plugs or filters
Oil changes, plugs, filters, scheduled service
Getting going
Switch on and press the pedal
Prime, start, wait for it to warm through
Sound at full throttle
Motor hum and water under the hull
Engine noise over everything else
What goes in the water
Nothing — no exhaust, no fuel residue
Exhaust and unburnt fuel, every ride
End of season
Charge it, cover it, walk away
Drain, stabilise the fuel, winterise the engine
Where you can ride
Quiet and clean enough for restricted lakes
Barred from many low-noise and no-combustion zones

Petrol machines still hold an advantage on outright range and a two-minute refuel. If you ride all day, far from shore, that matters. For a few hours on a lake or a bay, the Current gives that time back in everything you no longer have to do.

Questions

Everything else, answered.

Six to eight business days for most orders. We hold stock in the United States, United Kingdom, Australia and Canada, so your Current ships from the warehouse closest to you rather than crossing an ocean by sea freight. Tracking is sent the moment it leaves.

That depends entirely on where you ride. Requirements for personal watercraft differ by country, state and even by individual lake or waterway — some need registration or a boating licence, many inland waters need neither. Check with your local maritime or waterway authority before your first ride, as we can't advise on rules for your specific location.

Yes. You sit low and inside the hull rather than balancing on top of it, which makes it far more stable than a stand-up craft. Controls are a steering wheel and a throttle pedal, so the instincts carry over from driving. Start in the low speed mode and move up when you're comfortable.

Forty to sixty minutes of continuous riding on a full charge. Where you land in that range depends on which speed mode you use, rider weight and water conditions — steady cruising will always outlast full throttle. It charges from a standard household outlet.

Yes. The moulded ASA shell is chosen specifically for its resistance to UV and salt exposure. As with any watercraft, rinse it with fresh water after riding in the sea — that single habit does more for longevity than anything else you can do.

Twelve months from delivery, covering manufacturing defects in the motor, battery and hull. If a fault is ours, we repair or replace it. Email support@avendorra.com with your order number and a description of the issue and we'll take it from there.

One address, before or after you buy: support@avendorra.com. It reaches the people who actually know the product rather than an outsourced queue, and we answer everything from pre-purchase questions to warranty claims.
